We love it when celebs do good things – even if it is for a photo op. Newlyweds Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel took to the Rockaways in Queens on Saturday, where they helped out Hurricane Sandy victims. The area was hit incredibly hard – thousands are still without power, heat, food, and homes. Justin and Jessica stepped in to pass out backpacks filled with much needed supplies.
Some folks are ragging on them, saying they just need some good publicity after the minor scandal with that homeless person video at their wedding (which, in their defense, was a surprise to them). We say: hey, if you want to do something good, and you’re helping people who desperately need it, that’s what counts.
